Lime Kit

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

Lime Kit is built to need as little of your data as possible. The short version: your files never leave your device, we have no accounts, and we don't track you.

Your files stay on your device

Every tool processes your files entirely in your browser. There is no server that receives your documents, images, audio, or video — nothing is uploaded. When you close the tab, the files are gone from memory.

No accounts, no tracking

There are no sign-ups or logins. We don't use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies, and we don't build a profile of you or sell any data — because we don't collect any to begin with.

Local storage stays local

Some tools remember small preferences (like your last-used setting) or autosave your work using your browser's own local storage. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Third-party code from CDNs

A few heavier features load their code libraries from public CDNs the first time you use them (for example, the video engine or a document viewer). That fetch downloads program code to your browser — it never sends your files or their contents anywhere. Every such dependency is listed on our Transparency page.

Donations

If you choose to support the project by buying a coffee, that's handled entirely by Ko-fi under their own privacy policy. We never see your payment details.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Since we don't collect contact information, we can't notify you directly — but the guiding principle won't change: keep your data on your device.
