This tool trims your video by stream copy — it removes footage before your start point and after your end point without re-encoding the remaining frames. That makes cuts nearly instant, even on long files, and keeps the original quality intact.
Good to know
- Keyframe snapping: because no re-encoding happens, cuts land on the nearest keyframe, so the exact start/end may shift by a fraction of a second.
- Set from playhead: scrub the preview to the frame you want, then use the "Use playhead" button to set the start or end instantly.
- Same format out: the trimmed file keeps your original container and codec — no conversion required.
